Do you cater to senior dogs
Yes, we absolutely love senior dogs and are dedicated to their care. Our experience with senior dogs began with Joran, Tara’s sister's dog, who we took in when her sister became very sick. Joran was a beloved part of our family and helped us understand the unique needs of senior dogs.
We also have Birdie, who we initially thought was around 10 years old. However, a DNA test revealed she is actually 16! This experience has further deepened our commitment to providing specialized care and comfort for senior dogs. We’re dedicated to ensuring that every senior dog receives the love and attention they deserve in a supportive environment.
Can I leave my dog with you for the entire day?
Yes, your dog can stay with us for the entire day, from 6 AM to 8 PM. We offer special options upon request, so if you have any specific needs or arrangements, just let us know, and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.
What is the maximum number of dogs you accommodate at a time?
We accommodate a maximum of 10-15 dogs at a time. This smaller group size allows us to provide individualized attention and ensure a positive and engaging experience for each dog.

We are seasoned dog owners with four dogs of our own and have extensive experience handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. Playday Pups has been in full operation since early 2024, with Tara and Dave dedicated to providing top-notch care. Will my dog be walked every day?
No, we don’t normally walk dogs every day. If the weather is rainy or extremely hot, we may schedule walks later in the afternoon or at night. However, dogs usually get plenty of exercise playing with other dogs in our yard throughout the day. This natural playtime helps keep them active and engaged.
What if my dog is not social with other dogs?
If your dog isn't social with other dogs (but isn't aggressive or causing issues), we'll make sure to check in on them frequently and prioritize their comfort throughout the day. During the initial meet and greet, we’ll assess your dog’s behavior and tailor their experience to ensure they have a positive and stress-free time with us.
