Tara and Dave built Burlington’s Playday Pups with a passion for giving every dog the care they deserve. From bouncy puppies and social butterflies to seniors and dogs with special needs, all are welcomed with open arms. Each dog gets a personalized experience, with the right mix of play, rest, and attention. Whether your pup loves being part of the pack or needs a bit more TLC, Tara and Dave make sure they feel safe, happy, and right where they belong.

We keep your pup happy, balanced, and engaged with a structured daily routine. The day includes scheduled breaks around 11:00 AM, nap time from 1:00–3:00 PM, and a calm wind-down starting at 4:30 PM. Dogs are thoughtfully grouped by energy level and temperament to ensure a safe, positive experience. With small group sizes and a low 1:5 staff-to-dog ratio, every dog gets the attention they need—including those with special requirements or medications, even injectables. We prioritize the health and safety of all our furry guests. To ensure a safe environment for everyone, we require all dogs to be up-to-date on their vaccinations. Specifically, we mandate proof of vaccination for Rabies, DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus), and Bordetella (commonly known as the kennel cough vaccine). These vaccinations help protect not only your dog but also their playmates from preventable illnesses. Please provide current vaccination records prior to your dog's first visit to help us maintain a healthy and happy pack!

What to Bring to Dog Daycare
When bringing your dog to Playday Pups Dog Daycare for the first time, there isn’t much you need to pack. We recommend bringing:
- Leash
- Collar
- Coat (if needed for the weather)
- Lunch (if your dog eats lunch during the day)
- Medications (if they need to take any during the day)
We’ll take care of the rest to ensure your dog has a safe, fun, and comfortable experience!
