About us
Playday Pups began during the early days of COVID, when life slowed down and we spent our days with our four dogs—Lightning, Birdie, Luna, and Kaya. What started as playtime with our own pups quickly turned into something more when friends began dropping off their dogs. With six dogs running around, it still felt easy and natural—because we loved it.
We started slow on Rover, building up a small but wonderful community of friendly, well-socialized dogs. As word spread and more dogs joined our pack, it quickly became clear that having 10 dogs in our home every day was no longer practical. That’s when we made the leap and opened our commercial location at 1234 Advance Road.
Since then, Playday Pups has flourished. We’ve met so many amazing dogs (and their people) and grown into a trusted name in Burlington for boutique-style dog daycare and boarding. Whether your pup is here for a fun day of play or a cozy overnight stay, we treat them like one of our own—with love, structure, and lots of tail wags.
We’re proud to be locally owned and operated by Tara and Dave, and we can’t wait to meet your dog too.
